Negative pressure weighing hood INPW provides a self-circulating negative pressure clean microenvironment. Primarily used in the biopharmaceutical industry, it prevents cross-contamination during the weighing or sampling of pharmaceutical raw materials, ensuring operator safety.

  • Weighing Hood Filtration Modules:

  • The weighing hood offers diverse filtration modules, including primary filtration, medium-efficiency filtration, high-efficiency filtration, activated carbon adsorption, and chemical reaction stages.

  • The high-efficiency filtration module captures airborne particles smaller than 1μm, achieving filtration efficiency up to HEPA 16 (EN1822). Post-filtration, the outlet air cleanliness reaches Class 100 or higher. The liquid-trough seal completely eliminates gas leakage between the filter and frame. When paired with ultra-high-efficiency filters, it enables outlet cleanliness levels exceeding Class 10. Gasket-sealed filters can also be configured per customer requirements. Filter replacement methods are optional. For highly toxic applications, bag-in/bag-out replacement is available to protect maintenance personnel safety.

  • Testing and Validation of Weighing Hoods:

  • Comprehensive testing and validation ensure each unit is delivered with inspection reports and documentation. On-site testing includes: HEPA filter integrity testing, particle counting (air cleanliness testing), downward airflow and uniformity testing, exhaust airflow velocity and flow rate testing, contamination zone inspection, noise testing, illumination testing, and electrical safety testing.
