1. Water purification system operating temperature requirements

The appropriate working temperature of the laboratory water purification system is 25℃, and the available working temperature is around 4℃-45℃. If the temperature is lower or higher than this range, please adjust the temperature in time before use.
When the ambient temperature is lower than 5°C in winter, please turn off the device in time and move the device to a place with a suitable temperature before using it, or adjust the ambient temperature by turning on heating, air conditioning, etc.; when the ambient temperature is lower than 0°C, please do not use the equipment and drain the water in the equipment to prevent the water from expanding during the solidification process. If it is used forcibly in freezing conditions, it may cause the pipes and filter elements to rupture and cause water leakage.


2. Effect of temperature on water production

Temperature will affect the viscosity of water and the tension of the RO membrane, thereby affecting the water production efficiency of the RO membrane. Therefore, the water production volume of the water purification system will decrease as the temperature decreases.

 

How to ensure the stability of the water production of the water purification system under different water temperatures?

 

INNOVA provides adaptive dynamic adjustment of water production volume.  INNOVA water purification system will detect the water production flow rate through a pure water flow meter and feedback it to the control module. The control module will adjust the output pressure of the two-stage booster pump according to the target water production volume.

When the water temperature is low, the output pressure of the booster pump is high, and the water production of the RO membrane increases. When the water temperature is high, the output pressure of the booster pump is low, and the water production of the RO membrane decreases, thereby controlling the increase or decrease of the water production to make the water production flow comply with target values. During the water production process, when the inlet water pressure changes, the output pressure of the booster pump can be dynamically adjusted in real time based on the data fed back by the pressure detection to ensure the stability of the operating pressure and water flow rate of the water production system.


3. Solutions to common problems
(1)Water purification system appears freeze crack, water leakage and so on.
When the equipment leaks, carefully check the leakage area to see if the accessories are cracked or deformed, and replace the corresponding accessories in time; when the equipment freezes, do not pour boiling water, bake, etc. to defrost it. The equipment should be placed in an environment with a room temperature above 10 ℃ and thawed naturally for more than 48 hours to ensure that all the ice has completely melted before it can be switched on and used normally, and after switching on, check the equipment for water leakage and changes in water quality and quantity.
Although the water purification system is afraid of freezing, it can not be exposed to the sun. Sunlight can lead to the growth of bacteria in the filter element or pipeline. Even in winter, pure water equipment and filter elements should be installed and used in the dark.

(2)The tap water supply pipe freezes and cracks, and the water supply is cut off
ecause the temperature is too low in winter, water pipes are prone to bursting. If the water supply pipe freezes and cracks, the water supply will stop. Try not to use the equipment during the water outage. It is recommended to turn off the water inlet and drain all the water. After the water supply pipe is repaired, open the water faucet first to discharge the sediment in the water supply pipe, and then switch on  equipment again. This can avoid the mixing of sediment and other substances during the repair of water supply pipelines, which will cause the equipment filter element to become clogged in a short period of time and reduce the water flow rate.


All in all, the water purification system must be carefully maintained, which can not only prolong the service life, but also avoid unnecessary trouble. Especially in winter, do not ignore the heat preservation and anti-freezing of the laboratory water purification system.
