Qingdao Innova Bio-Meditech Co., Ltd. recently completed on-site operation and maintenance training for a customer who received dozens of INNOVA -86°C ultra-low temperature freezers. The training took place at the customer’s facility and covered the daily operation, alarm handling, and long-term care of the dual cooling ULT systems.

During the session, INNOVA service engineers walked the customer’s lab and maintenance teams through the 10-inch touchscreen controller, temperature setting, password protection, alarm review, and data access. They also explained how the dual cooling system maintains -86°C and can provide secondary cooling at -75°C in case of a service event, and how the variable speed compressor helps reduce temperature fluctuations and energy consumption.

Practical topics included door defrosting, rapid pressure equalization, access port use, routine cleaning, condenser checks, and automatic restart after power recovery. The customer’s team also received guidance on sample loading, rack and cryobox organization, and daily record keeping.

The freezers are designed for hospitals, blood banks, disease control centers, research institutes, and pharmaceutical laboratories, storing red and white blood cells, viruses, bacteria, tissues, semen, and other biological products at low temperatures.
