When grinding animal tissue samples in laboratory, it is necessary to divide the samples into small quantity and multiple batches to improve the efficiency of the experiment. To achieve this effect, a high-throughput vibratory ball mill is required.

The high-throughput vibratory ball mill can replace the original two ball milling tanks with a grinding adapter that can load multiple centrifuge tubes to achieve the goal of grinding small quantity and multiple batches.


INNOVA high throughput vibratory ball IM100S can provide solution for grinding animal tissue in the laboratory.

IM100S can be rapidly and efficiently grinded and homogeneous in a very short time and at frequencies up to 35Hz. Under certain grinding conditions, some samples can reach sub micron level. It can grind for dry, wet and freeze. Moreover, it can pulverize samples from 0.2 to 45ml at the same time. IM100S is perfectly suitable for the disruption of animal tissue grinding, biological cell crushing and DNA/RNA extraction.



Working principle

INNOVA IM100S high-throughput vibration ball mill performs circular arc radial vibration in the horizontal direction, and the grinding ball impacts the sample under the action of inertia, and the continuous reciprocating motion makes the sample reach the required particle size. The grinding adapter is a container similar to a centrifuge tube rack, in which multiple centrifuge tubes can be placed, and samples and grinding balls can be placed inside the centrifuge tubes. When the equipment is running, the grinding ball in the centrifugal tube impacts, rubbed and extruded the sample to complete the fine grinding.



Grinding steps of animal tissue

1、Put the simply processed tissue sample and appropriate amount of grinding balls into the centrifuge tube, then put the centrifuge tube into the grinding adapter.

2、If the sample needs to be cryogenically ground, the adapter with sample can be frozen in a liquid nitrogen tank first, and then taken out after a few minutes.

3、Place the frozen grinding adapter in the middle of the clamp and tighten the device after adjusting the position.

4、Close the machine cover, set the vibration frequency and vibration time through the touch screen.

5、Start the equipment, start crushing and grinding the samples, and observe the operation of the grinding platform.

6、Wait until the grinding is complete, open the cover, remove the sample, and turn off the equipment.
