What Is A Biosafety Cabinet?


A biosafety cabinet —also called a biological safety cabinet or microbiological safety cabinet—is an enclosed, ventilated laboratory workspace. The primary purpose is to offer protection to the user, the product, and the environment from aerosols arising from the handling of potentially hazardous micro-organisms.


Different Class of  Innova Biosafety Cabinets

Based on the level of personnel and environmental protection provided and the level of product protection provided, biosafety cabinets are classified into three classes,we provide you class II,classIII and cytotoxin cabinet.


Class II biosafety cabinets (A2/B2)

Provides personnel, environment and product protection.covers working with pathogenic or infectious organisms posing a moderate hazard,which may cause serious or lethal disease via aerosol transmission.



Class III biosafety cabinets (Biosafety Level: 4)

Provides highest level of protection for the environment, product and user.Applies when working with extremely dangerous, contagious and life-threatening agents. Maximum containment and protection is required at all times
