1. Overview

Sliding door clump weights' installation steps:  demount the cover plate of the light box→demount the pillars→stick the clump weights→Recovering

2. Preparation

Two installation personnel, one phillips screwdriver, a ladder Recommended clump weight size: W≤30mm, L:200～300mm, δ=2mm

2mm galvanized steel sheet, L: 200mm，about 100g, prepare 4 pieces.

2mm galvanized steel sheet, L: 300mm，about 150g, prepare 4 pieces.

Determine the Qty of the clump weight according to the actual situation, the perpose is to ensure  the sliding door can be closed properly and with no rebound.

3. Demounting

Note：All operation should be done while the power is off. 

3.1 Cut off the power supply, as shown in the picture below, unscrew the light box, take down it  and disconnect the wires from the electrical board.

3.2 Unscrew the screws inside the both sides of the front blanking plate, and turn plate up.

Note: make sure the light wires and control wires are all disconnected before turning up the front blanking plate

3.3 Secure the front blanking plate with the support rod as shown in the picture below.

3.4 Unscrew the screws which connect the fixing rod and the pillar, armrest 

3.5 One man holds the light box, another man demounts the pillars by unscrewing the fixing screws on both the top and bottom of the pillar, after both side pillars are released, take down the light box.

Note: Do not drop off the hinge axle on the light box!

Note: the pillars might bedemounted one side by one side, hold the light box before release the pillars.

Note: when takedown the light box, make sure not to drop off the hinge axle.

4.  Clump weights installlation

Fix the Clump weights on the silding door on which is close to the guide rail, fix the clump weight on the door glass with double-sided adhesive, and then slide the sliding door to check whether the weight of the Clump weights is suitable. If the weight is ok, supply glue around the clump weights to fix them firmly.

Note: when supplying the glue, pay attention not to make the clump weights stick to the guide rail.

5.  Recovering

Install back all the demounted parts.
